When in Halifax, take a day trip to the Rosemont of Virginia Winery. For some wine snobs or beer snobs, a vacation is all about finding the top-rated wineries or breweries to visit. Good news, we found a winery outside of Halifax, North Carolina (thanks to our friend, Ian).

We can't imagine a better day trip than a visit to a local winery, and I'm going to recommend to everyone that’s in town to add this to your travel itinerary! Plan your visit and be sure to schedule a tour & tasting. The wine tasting is only $10/per person. You can bring your own snacks (cheese, meats, and crackers), or you can order off their limited menu.
