Discover Halifax, North Carolina: Sylvan Heights Bird Park

On a lovely Sunday, we headed out to Sylvan Heights Bird Park in Scotland Neck, North Carolina. It was a delightful adventure as we explored the park's collection of rare waterfowl and exotic birds. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that the park is open on Sundays, making it the perfect day for our visit. The tickets were budget-friendly at $12 per adult, and our little one, Brax, got in for free, which was a great deal for a family outing.

This park truly has something for visitors of all ages. Our son had a blast at the playground and dig area, which were his favorites. Additionally, the option to pack a picnic or order lunch from their cafe made our visit even better. It's safe to say that we've added this park to our list of top family-friendly destinations in the area and are already looking forward to our next visit.
