The Parksdale Roof Project: Progress Update

We’re excited to share a major milestone in the restoration of The Parksdale House in Rich Square, NC! The kitchen addition now has a brand-new standing seam metal roof, replacing the old, worn-out structure.

Roof Replacement Process

The project involved completely demolishing the existing roof of the kitchen addition and installing a new standing seam metal roof. We sourced the metal roofing material from Nash Building Systems, Inc., ensuring a high-quality and long-lasting solution. The installation was expertly handled by Roofs R Us Construction, led by John Bass Jr., whose team worked efficiently to bring this phase to completion.

Project Costs

To remain transparent about our renovation journey, here’s a breakdown of the costs associated with this phase of the project:

  • Metal Material: $2,342.81 (paid upfront)

  • Labor & Additional Materials: $8,242.50

  • Total Cost: $10,585.31

What’s Next?

With the roof now secure and complete, we’re moving forward with the next steps of the restoration. Stay tuned for further updates as we continue bringing The Parksdale House back to life! We’ll be sharing more details and progress photos in our next post.
